CEF Practitioner Board
The Centre for Events and Festivals (CEF) has appointed Goc O’Callaghan the CEF Practitioner Board.
The Centre for Events and Festivals (CEF) is an international Not-for-Profit providing research and resources to all event and festival sectors - from sports, business and private events to public, arts, and cultural festivals.
Joining the CEF Practitioner Board further fulfills a dream to create memories for millions of people. Being on the Board of Practitioners at the CEF will provide the opportunity to contribute to a more equitable, sustainable, and creatively rigorous future for the sector. My practice is rooted in care, co-creation, and long-term thinking — principles that align with the board’s ambition to move beyond extractive models and towards frameworks that centre people, place, and purpose. This is an opportunity to share knowledge, challenge assumptions, and help shape infrastructures that truly support the diverse ecosystems of contemporary cultural practice.
